With the registrations coming and our 10U already at 19 players, we've swapped their practice times with the 6U/8U again this season so the 10U have a full sheet for a full hour.

* To follow specific tags (teams) click "Show Tag Menu" on the bottom right of the calendar. Select only those you wish to follow.

* The "Subscribe to iCal" feature will import the tag configuration of the schedule into the calendar of your choosing (Google, Apple, etc)

REMINDER:  Any practices cancelled due to weather or scheduling conflict will NOT be made-up at another time.

We will work to reschedule games that are cancelled for similar reasons, but can't guarantee this will happen.

Rec-level Practices will END the week before the last End-of-Season Festivals (regardless of Division) - NOT by the dates listed in SportsEngine.
The End-of-Season (EoS) Festivals are not set until about midway through the season, but we try to account for the last EoS Festival being that first weekend in March - which is not always the case.

Our home rink (The MAC) reserves the right to close due to bad weather. NMAHA will take all precautions to ensure the safety of our family’s and those traveling to us. If the rink remains open, generally practices and games will be held. 

Ultimately, it is the decision of each family to determine if the weather is too bad even if an advisory is not in place. Decisions to drive in inclement weather are the responsibility of the parent/guardian. 

NMAHA will not penalize a player in any way for missing a game or practice due to bad weather. We encourage all of its members to be safe when deciding to drive to a game in inclement weather.

NMAHA will play regularly scheduled games and practices unless: 

1. The rink hosting our game or practice closes. 
2. The State declares a "State of Emergency" and/or issues a Travel Warning, which closes the roads to public travel.  
3. Any unforeseen condition occurs that could jeopardize ones safety. This decision will be made at the discretion of the NMAHA board.  

Decisions made to cancel will be broadcasted through the SportsEngine App (team chats) and a text/email announcement via SportsEngine as soon as the decision is finalized.

We generally follow Rio Rancho Public Schools for the Fall, Thanksgiving and Winter Breaks & our season is done before Spring Break. We also don't have practices on Halloween so our players can enjoy that holiday.

There will not be practices:

• the Thursday/Friday of the Balloon Fiesta (Fall Break) - we will still have practice that Wednesday even if RRPS adds it as a "Teacher Planning" (no Students) day
• the full week of Thanksgiving
• during the last full week leading up to Christmas (can vary by level due to holiday events at The MAC)

Practices will resume the week after Thanksgiving and the week after Rio Rancho Public Schools' Winter Break (Monday, December 2nd thru Friday, January 2nd).  See below.

Fall Break:
No practices on October 9th (Thurs.) & 10th (Fri.)
Resume practices the week of October 13th

Halloween: No practices on Friday, October 31st

Thanksgiving Break:
No practices the week of November 24th
Resume practices the week of December 1st

Christmas Break: (Subject to change based on MAC holiday events)
No practices for ALL Levels starting Monday, December 22nd
All levels resume practices starting on Monday, January 5th, 2026! (Yes, even though school doesn't resume until Tuesday, 1/6/25)

There WILL be practices on both 1/20/25 (MLK Day) and 2/17/25 (Presidents Day) - even though there is no school on these days.
